YOUTH VISION
Clear River Youth
Clear River middle and high school youth group is a place where students can enjoy connecting with others their age, while learning from each other and leaders about how to follow Jesus. We strive to make our meetings fun and exciting, but we also make sure to get to real topics from the Bible that challenge and encourage the students in their journey of following Jesus.
Details
Our youth group meets on Sundays, from 11:30am-1:30pm, following our Sunday morning service. A time for games and fun followed by a free lunch is provided, then we have a Bible teaching, discussion and prayer. (See our calendar or upcoming Youth dates.)
Bible Discussion
Each month features a topic relating to following Jesus, from “prayer” to “how to tell others about Jesus”. In each Bible discussion, we focus on how to apply the Bible to the life of a middle or high school student. The girls and the guys break off for this portion of the youth group.
Prayer Ministry
Following our Bible discussions, we always take time to pray for each other. Students are encouraged to receive prayer and pray for one another in the group.
Robert Horner
Middle / High School Youth Leader
Robert is a West Lafayette native and has been a part of Clear River Church for many years. As a pastor, Robert now oversees our youth groups, facilities and our weekday serving teams. He also leads a Wednesday Discipleship Community. You’ll likely find Robert somewhere outside being active with his wife Lydia and daughter!
