Small Groups are the life of our church and the key to our growth as individuals. Our Small Groups meet weekly throughout Lafayette and West Lafayette. Each group meets for about 2 hours; we know people are busy, so our groups make sure to start and end on time.

The Small Group gathering usually begins with a discussion focused on life application of the Bible using the English Standard Version. If you’re visiting a Small Group, you can participate in the discussion as much or as little as you’d like. Discussions are followed by a time for prayer. Groups end the evening with refreshments and socializing.

Once a month, Small Groups gather at Clear River for Discipleship Community.

How do you find the right group for you?

Here's what we've found works best for most people:

  1. If you've come to Clear River with a friend, and they're in a group already, ask if you can visit theirs. If their group’s location or demographic doesn’t work well for you, see if your friend can help you find a group that might be a better fit.
  2. Visit a Discipleship Community on the night that works best for your schedule. Discipleship Communities are typically held on the first full week of the month, Monday-Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Clear River.
  3. Grab a few Small Group cards from our Small Group board, or check out Small Groups on our web site.

Try out a few groups and find one that fits you well. If you’re visiting for the first time, it is best to contact the group leader to verify where the group will be meeting that week.
